Contamination in compressed air system
Air compressor draw in air from the surrounding atmosphere that contains large number of airborne contaminants, including atmospheric dirt, oil vapor and water. Beside the importance of eliminating water vapor from the atmosphere, it is also mandatory to remove other foreign objects such as water droplets, oil and debris.
SMC also provides an extensive range of Air Preparation Filters to separate and remove mist and particles in compressed air that is difficult to remove with standard air filters .
